The event honored Princess Luna (Al-Husseini) Abu Khadra, who was recently appointed as the CISRI-ISP Goodwill Ambassador to the UN. In honor of Princess Abu Khadra's Lebanese heritage, the event featured Lebanese food, wines, music, and performances by Amira Mor with the Jewels of the Nile and displays of art.  The event also raised awareness of and support for the Inter-governmental Mission for Spirulina Program (ISP) to combat world hunger, poverty and malnutrition.
